SAOZ Data Access

Data Availability: Data are available online. System d' Analyse par Observation Zenitale (SAOZ) data include:

  • terrestrial atmosphere (particularly stratospheric ozone, oxidization properties of the troposphere, Sun-Earth interactions and climate-environment relationships)
  • planetary and comet atmospheres
  • local interstellar and interplanetary medium

The System d' Analyse par Observation Zenitale (SAOZ) is a spectrometer (UV to visible range/300 nm to 600 nm with a resolution of .8 nm) developed in the 1980s for the study of the polar stratosphere. Data error is within a 3 percent range for O3 and 5 percent for NO2.
