Data Access
As noted above PICES data can be located through the North Pacific Ecosystem Metadatabase - A Clearinghouse of North Pacific Metadata. Users can then pursue access with the contributor of the data.
The meta data record contains information on title and location of the data, abstract and purpose fields, contributor's name and contact information, time and spatial elements, and any access constraints. |
Access Data Products
PICES supported the initiative to begin collecting baseline plankton data in the North Pacific in cooperation with the Sir Alister Hardy Foundation for Ocean Science (SAHFOS).
The PICES web site provides access to analyses and descriptions of the data from the survey.
For SAHFOS data access see the GOSIC data access page for that program. |
