A cloudy morning leading to scattered thunderstorms tonight

TODAY: Central ID There will be scattered rain showers throughout the day, otherwise it will be hazy and mostly cloudy. Isolated thunderstorms will begin forming in central ID in the late afternoon and will continue into the late hours of the night. A few thunderstorms can also move into the rest of the night for tonight. The wind is slightly gusty, but can be very gusty in storms of up to 80 km/h. High temperatures reach the high 80s and low 90s.

TOMORROW: Scattered showers and thunderstorms will occur throughout the day for eastern ID and western WY. The wind will blow slightly windy with good gusts of wind under the rain showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures drop into the 80s.

LONG TERM: Showers and thunderstorms continue through Friday and Saturday. Scattered rain showers will remain for Sunday and Monday before we attempt to dry into next week. The wind stays fairly calm between 5 and 15 mph long term. High temperatures will continue to ease slightly into the upper 70s and low 80s through Saturday before warming up slightly again to the mid to high 80s next week.
