Destrehan High School reopens after the Ida damage

Destrehan High School will welcome students back after the damage caused by Hurricane Ida. The campus was badly damaged by the storm, forcing students to go elsewhere for classes. In a Facebook post, St. Charles Parish Schools said the school system, Destrehan High staff and contractors have been working hard for the day when students could return. Students and staff returned to campus Tuesday morning.
