LAKE BUENA VISTA, Florida. – On Sunday, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park welcomed guests for the first time in almost two years.
It was the first time people have been to the water park since all parks closed in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Blizzard Beach, Disney’s other water park, reopened in 2021 last year, but Typhoon Lagoon stayed closed.

On Sunday the guests experienced a beautiful, sunny day in the Sunshine State in the Typhoon Lagoon.
Once again, people were allowed to ride the water slides, float in the lazy river and splash around in the wave pool.
