In a statement released on Sunday, the EMA warned of a potentially thick fog on Monday “from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m.” on some highways to and from Cairo, the Nile Delta, north coasts, Suez Canal cities, central Sinai and north Sinai.
The EMA announced that winds will be active on the north coast and in the Nile Delta.
The country is expected to experience moderate daytime temperatures in Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta and northern Upper Egypt, and cold daytime temperatures on the north coast on Monday.
Warm weather is also expected during the day in southern Sinai and southern Upper Egypt, the EMA added.
At night, very cold weather is expected in Egypt, which reaches frost point in central Sinai.
The EMA added that navigation in the Mediterranean will be stable on Monday after struggling for the past two days.
According to the EMA, Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt will reach highs of 19 degrees and lows of 10 degrees on Monday
Highs of 18 degrees and lows of 12 degrees are expected on the north coast of the country.
Highs of 23 and lows of 16 are expected in South Sinai.
Northern Upper Egypt will see highs of 19 and lows of 7, while southern Upper Egypt will see highs of 20 to 31 and lows of 8.
