This middle-order right-handed racquet from Typhoons had an unbeaten 68 of 48 balls, including 10 limitations, in their last game against the Scorchers. She came at bat in the sixth over of the game and was there to the end to tie the team’s innings together.
The Typhoons right-arm, mid-paced bowler was the bowlers’ choice in their last appearance against the Scorchers. She scalped 9/2 in two overs and was the most economical bowler for her side. Aside from her bowling, she hit an 11-ball nine and batted at number five.
Dragons Top’s right-handed opening batter hit a whopping 71 of 48 balls in her last match against the Scorchers. She smashed nine limits and a couple of sixes in her entertaining knock. In the process, she sewed a 132-run partnership with her opening partner, Leah Paul.
The Dragons all-rounder made valuable contributions with bat and ball in her last game against the Scorchers. She opened up batting and muscled an unbeaten 65 of 55 balls, including seven limits. With ball, she won 22/1 in three overs, bowling with her left arm and being the only wicket taker for her team.
This is the first game of the tournament at this venue. The fresh wicket is expected to be bat-friendly. However, the overcast conditions could help bowlers, especially the faster ones.
Weather is expected to be breezy and seen between clouds and sun with scattered showers. The temperature can reach up to 20 degrees Celsius during the day. Expected cloud cover is 70 percent with a 40 percent chance of rain. The wind will blow from the west.
