The Wynchipet area in One-Town was flooded and street vendors faced great difficulties. Meanwhile, complaints about water stagnation in various places in the city have also been received by the city government and the electricity authorities. Pedestrians had a hard time on the paths. Underground drainage failed in many parts of the city including Suryaraopet, Governorpet and many other areas.

IMD Meteorological Center (Amaravati) Director Stella S. said the cyclone circulation over the northwest and adjacent west-central Bay of Bengal is now over the west-central Bay of Bengal off the coast of Andhra Pradesh. The cyclone circulation extends up to 1.5 km above mean sea level, the director of the IMD Meteorological Center said.
