Lady Hurricanes play #18 Rollins College to a 0-0 draw

AMERICUS — After their first loss of the season in a 3-0 loss to Alabama-Huntsville, the Georgia Southwestern Lady Hurricanes Soccer Team (GSW) kicked off Wednesday night’s home game against 18th-Rank Rollins College (RC) hoping to pull off an upset and get back in the Victory Column. Although they failed to secure a win, the Lady Hurricanes were able to outplay the Lady Tars to a 0-0 draw on Wednesday, September 7 at Hurricane Field.
RC had far more chances to break the deadlock, making a total of 13 shots, five of which were on target. On the other hand, the Lady Hurricanes only had four shots during the game, two of which were on target.
GSW goaltender Grace O’Shaughnessy made five saves for the Lady Hurricanes that night, while RC goaltender Elena Beasley had two saves total.
The Lady Hurricanes (3-1-1) will look to get back into the Victory Column when they open the Peach Belt Conference game at the University of North Georgia on Saturday, September 10 at 5:30 p.m
