National Center for Meteorology warns of fog, motorists warned

The National Center for Meteorology (NCM) has expected weather to be generally fair on Tuesday, with the possibility of easterly cumulus clouds through the afternoon that could be associated with rain.

It is also expected to be wet overnight and Wednesday morning over some coastal areas particularly to the north with a likelihood of fog or fog formation.

Winds will be light to moderate from the southeast, becoming northwest and north-easterly, which will strengthen at times during the day, at speeds of 10-25 and 40 km/h. The sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.

According to NCM, expected temperatures in the country on Tuesday range from 29-41C in Abu Dhabi, 30-39C in Dubai, 26-39C in Sharjah, 29-38C in Ajman, 27-39C C in Umm Al Quwain, 26-40°C in Ras Al Khaimah, 29-36°C in Fujairah, 29-43°C in Al Ain and 27-43°C in Liwa.

Also on Wednesday the weather should be generally nice. Clouds may appear to the east and become cumulus by afternoon.

Damp overnight and Thursday morning over some coastal areas, particularly north, with a chance of fog formation.

Light to moderate south-east to north-east winds, strengthening at times, at a speed of 10-25 to 35 km/h. The sea will be light in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea, the NCM said.
