CALGARY – Thursday afternoon is going to be dry under a mixture of sun and clouds. Although the showers have stopped, there is a risk of isolated thunderstorms for central and southern Alberta into the afternoon and evening. Nickel-sized hail and gusts of 70-90 km / h are possible, but areas east of Calgary that extend to the southeast corner also have the potential for funnel clouds or a land spout tornado to develop.
