“We’re having a generally disrupted weather pattern this week,” Andrew Quigley, a weather forecaster with the National Weather Service Office in Austin-San Antonio, said Sunday afternoon.
Energy from the Gulf of Mexico and a faint front approaching the area from the north are combining to form thunderstorms, Quigley said.
Quigley warns that while there is a chance of rain everywhere, the coverage area is not widespread.
“Unfortunately, there will likely be some neighborhoods[in San Antonio]that get through this week that don’t see rain,” Quigley said.
