Thunderstorms will increase through Saturday morning

FORECAST OF KANSAS CITY

This evening: There is an almost 100 percent chance of rain on Saturday morning. Wind: Variable 5-15 mph. Gusty winds in some thunderstorms. Low: 69°

Saturday: A near 100 percent chance of morning rain and thunderstorms. Then mostly cloudy, cooler, still muggy. A few showers and thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon. High: 76°

Sunday: Partly cloudy with a chance of mainly morning showers and thunderstorms. Low: 68° High: 87°

July 4th: Early morning thunderstorms possible in northern Missouri. Slight chance they crop KC. Mostly sunny, breezy hot and muggy. Wind: S 10-25 mph Low: 75° High: 92°, dry, 80s and muggy at fireworks time in the evening.
