The 2023 recruiting class will be the first full one for Miami Football head coach Mario Cristobal. Who are the main targets of hurricanes?
Miami Football head coach Mario Cristobal did a fantastic job with the 2022 recruiting class by making something from nothing.
The Hurricanes were ranked in the 1970s when Cristobal took over the program, and by the end of the signing period in February, Miami was in the top 15 in the country. However, the 2022 class will not be the foundation upon which Miami Football builds in an attempt to return to championship contention. That would be recruitment class 2023.
Miami has the potential to land a top five recruiting class for the first time in the modern recruiting era. That was one of the reasons Cristobal was brought back to his alma mater and he can recruit against the best in the country.
As usual, there will be plenty of talent in the state of Florida, and it will be up to Cristobal and his staff to make sure they get the most out of that talent.
Another thing that should get Hurricanes fans excited about this upcoming class is the staff that Cristobal has assembled. With every coach he’s hired, he’s brought excellence to Miami. That was something Miami didn’t have in its 20 years of dysfunction.
There will be plenty of competition for the players who will be chasing the Hurricanes. They’re going to have to do something they’ve struggled to do, which is consistently beating elite schools for the best talent.
Here are the top three goals for Miami Football in the 2023 recruiting class.
