isolated thunderstorms on the way. As we head into this afternoon and evening they will be isolated but the damn couple might be on the stronger side by the way as we look ahead to the weekend we will remain uneasy. Not necessarily something heavy, but some rain showers will be in the area. Let’s take a *** look at our moisture content here. You can see it’s going to be a bit higher this afternoon and tonight. So *** a bit muggy later today. But then we have a damn cool front that’s going to come through today and end tomorrow. This will actually help pull some drier air down. It’s not that we won’t have any humidity, but it will be a little less humid and our humidity will be kept in check a bit into the weekend. That’s good news, at least, because as you can see on Tuesday and Wednesday next week, a lot of that humidity is coming back and it’s going to be downright muggy when we *** take a look over the area we have right now I have a *** low risk that some of today’s thunderstorms could become severe by the way if they do get severe. The main concerns will be strong winds and scattered hail and of course some pretty good downpours with lightning. But as we take Live Super Doppler 4 just before noon today, we caught some rain south of Greenwood. We’re beginning to see some very isolated showers moving across the mountains. They will trickle across the backcountry as we head there later in the afternoon and evening. 3 34 5 36 7. Here’s the afternoon, isolated thunderstorms heading into tomorrow morning, you may see *** very few isolated showers, but tomorrow afternoon we’re seeing that frontal boundary again, stalling further moving south , so just along and south of I 85 will likely see the heaviest downpours as we head into tomorrow’s afternoon and evening. Then, Friday, we’re back to normal. *** regular summer weather where we get those scattered showers again in the afternoons and evenings but very patchy, very isolated. It’s going to be a damn day that really keeps most of us dry as temperatures climb back into the upper 80s, Saturday pretty much the same and then slightly better odds of maybe a damn thunderstorm or two Sunday through Monday break open . By the way, check out our temperatures in the mountains and inland, we will be below the seasonal average, no extreme heat expected this week mm
